Red Miso Hummus

Ingredients:

  • 400g (1 can) organic chick peas drained
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 2 tablespoons oil of your choice eg olive, macadamia, hemp etc
  • ¼ cup red miso
  • salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander
  • 2-3 tablespoons of water to adjust texture to preference
  • avocado and extra herbs to decorate finished product

Recipe:

  • Place all ingredients (except chopped coriander) into a food processor and process until smooth
  • Adjust texture by addition of a little water until achieve the desired consistency
  • Stir in the coriander
  • Place in serving bowl and top with chopped coriander and avocado and drizzle with oil
